During the last year their has been a lot of wake up calls for this country since we have elected and installed our new president. We, as Americans have a lot to think about this Christmas season. How long will we remain free and how much longer will we have the freedoms that our forefathers had and enjoyed. This past year should be a wake up call for all Americans who love freedom. The take over of the banks, financial institutions, auto makers and many other businesses, including trying to impose a heath care system on this country that would set the medical field back 100 years. This has all happen in less than one year. The tripling of the nations deficit that keeps getting bigger. Everyone of these is, or should be, a serious wake up call for all Americans. We have a president that wants to make a security force that is bigger than the army and answerable only to him. Why? What is wrong with the Secret Service, FBI, CIA, ATF, and many state and local police departments?

But here is truly, a most important wake up call that most American people have just passed over and over looked. During the last two hundred years the United States has gone around the world to spread and promote democracy to other countries. Too bad Obama don't practice what this country has preached and believes in a little closer to home. All we have to do is to look at Honduras and see that this country present administration is not practicing what The United States has spread around the world in the past. That is all people are free and have the right to make a choice.

It is unthinkable that a president of freedom-loving Americans will stood toe to toe with and along side of Venezuela's Hugo Chavez and Cuba's Castro in their effort to sabotage and under mind the country of Honduras as they fought to keep their country free of communism and socialist values. It is beyond belief that The Obama Administration demanded that the poor country, of Honduras restore Manuel Zelaya, who was forcibly removed from power on June 29, after he attempted to subvert and destroy the constitution of that country and hold a referendum to make himself president for life. In other words he was trying to set himself up to be a dictator. There would have been no more freedoms for that little country. Here a little and there a little Zelaya was setting himself up as a dictator. He stood for the Liberal Party in the November 2005 presidential election and won by a narrow margin. But since then he has gone way to the left.

Despite his middle of the road credentials, Zelaya moved Honduras away from its traditional ally the United States, winning the support of Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez and other leftist (communist) leaders. Publicly backed by such leftists (communist) leaders such as Mr Chavez, Bolivian President Evo Morales and former Cuban leader Fidel Castro, Mr Zelaya began to lose the support of his own party. In May 2007, Mr Zelaya ordered all of the country's TV and radio stations to carry government propaganda for two hours a day, accusing them of giving his government unfair coverage. In August 2008, he took Honduras into the Bolivian Alternative for the Americas (Alba), an organization set up by Venezuela as an alternative to the stalled US plan for a Free Trade Area of the Americas. Mr Zelaya's removal came as he pressed on with plans to hold a public conference to ask people whether they supported moves to change the constitution. This would have meant adding a question to the ballot for November's presidential election on setting up a body charged with redrawing and making a new constitution.

What happened in Honduras on June 28 was legal, although not perfect, but we are not living in a perfect world. The attorney general of Honduras charged Zelaya with violating a number of clauses of the Honduran Constitution. The Supreme Court backed him up, and when Zelaya refused to comply with the court order, a warrant was issued for his arrest. Yes, the army removed Zelaya from the country, but only because it feared violence by his communist supporters, who were already gaining a foot hold in that country, and the leaders of that country also wanted to uphold the constitution of the country. Roberto Micheletti, the former head of Congress, was the next in line for the presidency, and he was ratified for this office by an overwhelming vote, including the majority of Zelaya's own party. All of Honduras' democratic institutions were fully functioning and intact. Honduras held its scheduled presidential election Nov. 29 – the one Zelaya was seeking to undermine – and has invited in independent observers from around the globe.

This was not good enough for Obama. The Obama administration demanded that Honduras reinstate Zelaya as president even though he is not legally eligible to run again, even though he was trying to subvert and destroy the constitution of his country and its freedoms. To further strong arm Honduras into taking Zelaya back, the Obama administration cut $30 million in aid {that is a lot for a small country}, had visas suspended and stood by as the country of Honduras was dumped from the U.N. Human Rights Council by the likes of Nicaragua and Cuba, both of which are communist countries. This is no way for a freedom living government to treat or help a poor neighboring country trying to sustain and uphold a democratic government and give its citizens a better quality of life. We should have done the same to Honduras as we have done to other countries that want freedom. Help Them!

As I was researching materials on terrorism for my blog on the web I read a startling and upsetting article that Obama wrote about the 9/11 jihadists (terrorist) eight days after the attack on the Twin Towers, the Pentagon, and the plane that crashed in Pennsylvania that left 3,000 innocent men, women, and children dead on American soil. That article really disturbed me for a man that is now our president to say what he did in that article. It was his recommendations and advice on how to stop the jihad terrorist, in a local Chicago newspaper, he had published eight days after the September 11 terrorist attacks. What he said was so unbelievable! This is in part of what he said: “We must also engage, however, in the more difficult task of understanding the sources of such madness. The essence of this tragedy, it seems to me, derives from a fundamental absence of empathy {understanding, sympathy, compassion} on the part of the attackers: an inability to imagine, or connect with, the humanity and suffering of others. Such a failure of empathy, such numbness to the pain of a child or the desperation of a parent, is not innate; nor, history tells us, is it unique to a particular culture, religion, or ethnicity. It may find expression in a particular brand of violence, and may be channeled by particular demagogues or fanatics. Most often, though, it grows out of a climate of poverty and ignorance, helplessness and despair.” Is this man (Obama) for real? Osama bin Laden’s murderous legions are plenty able to “imagine” the “suffering of others.” Go watch an al Qaeda beheading video on Google or surf You-Tube While you watch it please tell me if these terrorist were trained in the suffering of infidels and please tell me if it is covered in Their Basic Jihadist Training. I’ll repeat again what Obama said in the week after the 9/11 attack was to identify and make it out as a “tragedy” stemming from lack of “empathy” and “understanding”–instead of yet another deliberate, carefully planned evil act of the long-waged Islamic war on the West that it was. What was there to understand about the killing of three thousand people. What is there to understand about the attack on the USS Cole and the marine barrack in Lebanon? What about the soldiers and the pregnant women and all the people that were wounded and killed at Fort hood, Texas? As for Obama’s continued delusion about the “climate of poverty and ignorance” that supposedly breeds Muslim terrorists, can our great politicians ever rid their selves of this unreality-based crap? That is exactly what it is “Crap” This belief is part of the same absurdity and stupid silliness that lead the State Department to embrace and cuddle the Muslim world and the same reason President Bush opened up our aviation schools to more Saudi students to “improve understanding.” John McCain also said education was the cure for Islamic terrorism when he was at the L.A. World Affairs Council in March, when he declared that “In this struggle, scholarships will be far more important than smart bombs.” (really) Just what we need: more student visas for that jihadist-infested nation that sent us most of the 9/11 hijackers. This kind of thinking will only bring us more of the same results in the very near future. When is our government going to wake up to the fact that these people want to kill us. When are they going to wake up to the fact these people do not want for us to befriend them or to be their buddies. They want to kill us. They despise everything that this country stands for. Wake up Mr. Obama and the rest of you liberals in congress. Smell the coffee! These Muslim terrorist have only one thing on their mind. That is to kill the infidel. This has been the same way for thousands of years and it will only get worse until we take a more firm stand against it. There’s plenty of genuine documented evidence out there (you only have to look) that would debunk Obama’s way of thinking. If you will look and read you will find that the most ruthless ‘extremists are those fanatics, better known as terrorist, who have lived in the United States and England, have been most exposed to the west and western education: from Osama bin Laden (summer school at Oxford and Mohammed Atta Hamburg University urban planning student) to the London School of Economics graduate responsible for the beheading of Daniel Pearl. The idea that handing out college scholarships to young Saudi males and getting them hooked on Starbucks and car-chase movies will make this stuff go away is ridiculous and unworthy of a president or a senator of this country. Politics will never solve this problem. This was proved in Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, and now Afghanistan. We must un tie the hands of our military and let them do the job they were trained to do. Let them win! It is sad when a country will send a young soldier to be shot at and maybe killed, but tie their hands so they cannot fight back properly. A government has two choices. They can refrain from sending any soldiers at all or they can send soldiers to do a job and when they do: do not put no handcuffs on them. Turn them loose and give them what they need to win! Ayman al-Zawahiri did not need any more education or wealth to guide him away from Islamic imperialism. He has a medical degree. So does the former Hamas terrorist Abdel Rantissi. Seven upper-middle-class jihadist doctors were mixed up in the 2007 London/Glasgow bombings. Suspected al Qaeda scientist Affia Siddiqui, still wanted by the FBI for questioning, is a Pakistani who studied microbiology at MIT and did graduate work in neurology at Brandeis. And as I’ve said several times before and I will say again to the hard of hearing, politicians, in Washington, reducing the academic standards of our colleges helped the al Qaeda mastermind Khalid Shaikh Mohammed further the jihadist cause. In the early 1980s, he enrolled at the small Chowan College in Murfreesboro, N.C., which had dropped its English requirements to attract wealthy Middle Easterners. (big mistake)At Chowan, Mohammed bonded and had ties with other Muslim foreign students known as “The Mullahs” because of their religious zeal. Mohammed then transferred to North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, where he earned his degree in mechanical engineering along with 30 other Muslims. Mohammed applied his Western learning to oversee the 1993 World Trade Center bombing plot (six Americans dead), the U.S.S. Cole attack (17 American soldiers dead), and the September 11 attacks (3,000 dead). He has also been linked to the 1998 African-embassy bombings (212 dead, including 12 Americans), the plot to kill the pope, the murder of American journalist Daniel Pearl, and the Bali nightclub bomb blast that killed nearly 200 tourists, including two more Americans. Perhaps the bleeding-heart Obama thinks a master’s degree in social work would have convinced poverty-stricken, helpless, ignorant, despairing Mohammed to change his mind? Maybe if these terrorist could have got just a little bit more education that they would have had more understanding and would not have killed those three thousand people. What we have here (according to Obama) is a failure to communicate? What do you think? I think that the best way to communicate with these people (the terrorist) is to wipe them off the face of the earth before they do the same thing to us. Let them know that we will fight them on our streets, we will fight them in our churches, we will fight them in our government, we will fight them from shore to shore, and we will take the fight to them until there is not a threat anymore. The day of giving them ice cream and loli pops is over. No Mr. Obama it is not a failure of empathy as you say, but it is a failure of your government and some past governments to realize what these jihadist are all about. The destruction of the free world as we know it. If we had that mind set in world war two, as Obama has now, we would be speaking Japanese and German. We would be bowing before the emperor and walking the German goose step as we haled Hitler. We need leaders who will realize these people want to destroy us and there is no amount of empathy that will stop that.

Since the carnage at fort Hood last week, To hear some people tell it, radical Muslim and Army psychiatrist Nidal Malik Hasan did not kill people – his guns alone did. It was not his radical religion the guns are to blame. The gun control nuts are having a ball with this tragedy and loss of life. This happens every time when people like Hasan kills and spreads terror with a fire arm. Honest gun owners pay the price every time. According to Chicago Mayor Richard Daley – who is now arguing to the U.S. Supreme Court for the power to disarm law-abiding people in Chicago – it was not Maj. Hasan's radical Muslim beliefs that drove him to murder innocent colleagues; it was the fact that "America loves guns." Daley explained, "We love guns to a point that we see the devastation on a daily basis." What turnip truck did this man fall off? Put him back in the turnip patch. Was it Hasan's love for guns or his love for a radical religion that caused him to kill. Anyone that has just the smallest amount of sense will tell you that it was not his love for guns, but his belief in radical Islam that caused him to commit these murders. The Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence also jumped at the chance to blame guns first, this is what they said two days after the shootings, " This latest tragedy, at a heavily fortified Army base, ought to convince more Americans to reject the argument that the solution to gun violence is to arm more people with more guns in more places. Enough is enough." By their twisted reasoning, America's love of airplanes led to the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. The solution to stopping the 9/11 Islamic terrorists, you see, was fewer people in fewer airplanes in fewer places. As for Fort Hood, the Brady Campaign got it one hundred per cent backwards. Thanks to a 1993 Clinton imposed presidential order, Army posts are an anti-gun supporter's dream, a miniature copy of a "gun-free" society: Only the police are allowed to carry weapons, service weapons are signed out only for training or maintenance, and any personal weapons must be kept locked and registered with the base provost marshal. Strangely, the same soldiers whom we trust with automatic weapons in Afghanistan and Iraq are not allowed to carry weapons on an American post or base. Some of the soldiers just came back from those places, carried guns everyday while over there. And yet all such "gun-control," which the Brady Campaign-types support, did nothing to stop Hasan from sneaking in two personal handguns. Killers with no regard for other people's lives are hardly going to obey at anti-gun rules. Gun control only controls and limits the law-abiding not the people who want to kill, maim, and slaughter. Gun control laws are worthless as the paper that they are written on! Despite being "heavily fortified," Fort Hood had an unarmed population living under a deadly mixture of a false sense of security and no means of self-defense. They were sitting ducks. We as Americans also live under a false sense of security and for the most part we are sitting ducks also. While soldiers should never have to worry about attacks from one of their own, forcing them to be unarmed makes them more vulnerable to traitors and saboteurs than the embattled enemy that they fight. Maj. Hasan knew this, and to maximize his evil plot he did not attack the armed MPs or the civilian police department, This cowardly man attacked dozens of soldiers and officers at the Soldier Readiness Center whom he knew would be unarmed. And they were unarmed precisely because of the "gun-control" measures at Ft. Hood. So where is the logic for gun control here? Our college campuses has to put up and deal with the same deadly "gun-control" policies. On April 16, 2007, Virginia Tech student Seung-Hui Cho, armed with a pair of handguns, massacred 32 students and faculty and injured another 25. Even then, the anti-gun fanatics rose up and condemned the guns. But Virginia Tech's campus, like most colleges, was a so-called "gun-free zone" where students and faculty were not permitted to carry weapons. This made people on Virginia Tech's campus, like those at Fort Hood, an easy target for a lone, suicidal, jihad juiced, gun-wielding murderer. What the Brady Campaign failed to mention is that it took "gun violence" to stop the gun violence at Fort Hood and Virginia Tech. It was police officers, with guns, that brought down Hasan last week; and it took armed police breaking into the building where Cho had barricaded himself before he took his own life. But that means that until the armed police arrived, Hasan shot 42 people and Cho shot 57. Remember the church, in the mid west last year when a lone gunman shot someone outside and then went inside where he was meet by a off duty female security guard, who took her handgun out of her handbag and shot him. If she was not there, with her handgun, how many people would have been killed or wounded before the gunman was stopped? Would it have been as many as the 42 people that Hasan shot or the 57 people that Cho shoot, or would it have been worse? The Bradys and Daleys, of this country, need to answer that question, but they never will. The question must be asked: "How much sooner would either spree have ended had any one of the hundreds of other soldiers or students (or even faculty) been armed?" How many more unarmed victims in "gun-free" zones or cities must die before some of these foolish gun laws are changed? Thomas Paine explained that the erroneous belief of the peace loving Quakers was their failure to account for the fallen nature of man: He Said this : "Could the peaceable principle of the Quakers be universally established, arms and the art of war would be wholly removed: But we live not in a world of angels. … I am thus far a Quaker, that I would gladly agree with all the world to lay aside the use of arms, and settle matters by negotiation: but unless the whole will, the matter ends, and I take up my musket and thank heaven He has put it in my power. "The problem is not weapons, be they firearms, knives, or fists, the problem is that man has sinned and fallen short of the glory of God." Well spoken Thomas Paine! With each news report about Maj. Hasan, it becomes more evident and unmistakable that political correctness handicapped the resolve of the Army and federal agencies to sufficiently and adequately investigate him and for them to respond to the many indicators of his increasingly radical Muslim beliefs. Radical Islamic terrorists belong in front sights of our troops, not among them. Hopefully, America and her armed forces have finally learned that radical Muslims ought to be purged, not promoted. Nor should we be led to believe the politically correct lie that taking guns out of law-abiding hands is the solution and the answer to stop the use of guns by the wrong people. A "gun-control" law stops bullets as effectively as the paper it's printed upon. Until the homicidal psychopaths and the radical juiced up jihadists of the world "lay aside the use of fire arms" (or airplanes, or IEDs, etc.), the right of the people, students and soldiers to keep and bear arms should not be infringed upon.

Attorney General Eric Holder decision to drag Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and others now held at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, to New York city for a courthouse trial not far from the former location of the World Trade Center, that was destroyed in the Sept. 11, 2001, in which nearly 3,000 people were killed by an act of war against this country. Holder said the suspects will be in New York "to answer for their alleged crimes in a courthouse just blocks away from where the twin towers once stood." This choice is a good sign that the Obama administration is returning to a pre-9/11 way of thinking, when such cases were dealt with in civilian courts. There should be a military decision to the cases, since this was really an act of war and the defendants were seized by military troops as part of the nation's war on terror. The 911 attacks were a act of war not a criminal act and should be dealt with as such. This decision is not only foolish, but founded on a denial or the Obama administration to face the fact that what we are caught up with here is a war with people who follow a religiously-based ideology that calls on them to kill us, and to return instead to the mindset that prevailed before Sept. 11 that acts like the first World Trade Center bombing, the attacks on our embassies in Africa and other such acts can and should be treated as conventional crimes and tried in civilian courts. The sad fact is these are not crimes but acts of terror and war. There is a big difference here. By bringing terror suspects into New York, the Obama administration is risking turning the city into "the center and focal point of trouble in the form of murder and more terrorist acts by fanatic followers of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed." There is also the possible intelligence secrets will be exposed as part of the legal proceedings in a civilian Court. This should never happen. The American people should not sit down and not say a word about the reckless undermining of this nations security by the Obama administration and his attorney general Eric Holder. The decision by Obama's Justice Department to bring terror suspects into the U.S. and put them on trial in New York City will raise the danger level for that city and all Americans. What this administration fails to do is see this as what it is: TERRORISM. They will not even say the word. Having these trails in New York City is giving the terrorist just what they want: A outlet to promote and spur more terrorism in this country. The Obama administration has ordered the FBI and CIA to inform terrorists that are caught in foreign that they "have the right to remain silent" before probing them for information that will save American lives. What is going on here? According to report in The Weekly Standard, a senior Republican on the House Intelligence Committee has revealed that "the Obama Justice Department has quietly ordered FBI agents to read Miranda rights to high value detainees captured and held at U.S. detention facilities in Afghanistan." What rights do these people have not being American Citizens? The successes in stopping more killing of Americans by terrorist would have happened if we had had to treat Khalid Sheikh Mohammed like a white-collar criminal – read him his Miranda rights and get him a lawyer who surely would have insisted that his client simply shut up This policy of the Obama administration is part of a larger plan to replace the CIA dominated method of secret covert arrest and interrogations with a extensively expanded role for the FBI and Justice Department in counter-terrorism operations. According to a recent Los Angeles Times report, FBI agents will collect evidence to criminally prosecute all suspected terrorists. What a mindset! It would seem the last thing we want is Khalid Sheikh Mohammed or any other al-Qaeda terrorist to remain silent. Our focus should be on preventing the next attack, not giving radical jihadists a new tactic to resist interrogation, in other words lawyering up." Counter-terrorism operations is an intelligence or military issue, not a law enforcement one But, under Obama's new "global justice" plan, the goal is to ensure that all suspected terrorists can be tried in a U.S. or foreign court of law. If this kind of reasoning was in place during World War Two we could have kissed the victory of that war good bye. What Obama is trying to do is bring us into a one world government. With many thousands of lives that could be in the balance, it does not make good sense to let the terrorists answer questions in their own good time or whenever they want to. We do not need to give them a platform to further their agenda of radical Islam. That is exactly what is going to happen and not only that we will have another three circus like the OJ Simpson trail. a suspected terrorist who remains silent will not provide the U.S. with vital information about impending attacks. If we read these terrorist Miranda warnings we would have obtained none of the information they had in their head about imminent threats against the American people."

A week ago there was a terrorist attack on one of our military bases which was the worst act of terrorism since 911. Even though our government fails to call it what it was, terrorism plain and simple.  It appears that it’s not enough for our government that America’s armed forces risk their lives overseas defending our freedom. These days, our soldiers aren't even safe here at home stationed on secure military bases. 

On November 5th, a lone gunman murdered 13 fully-trained, ready to deploy soldiers, and wounded 29 more, in the most shocking terrorist attack on American soil since 9/11. Why was this shocking incident allowed to take place? On an army base with all the trained men and women, the best trained in the world, with all the weapons why was this allowed to happen? How was Nidal Hasan able to take down so many trained soldiers before he was stopped? The answer is simple: The base was a “gun-free safe zone.” Gun-free zones only help provide helpless targets for terrorist and mass murders.

It is because this government thinks it is better to keep its armed service members unarmed. That sounds silly, even stupid but the truth is the military men and woman of this country are prohibited and forbidden from carrying the weapons they are trained and trusted to use in the heat of battle on base. President Clinton was the person behind this thoughtless and foolish policy back in 1993 when he declared all military bases “Gun Free Zones.” We can trust theses men and women to fight our countries’ battles and to stop aggression, but we cannot trust them with guns on base. Now what is wrong with that picture? As a result of this thirteen people were killed and thirty more were wounded. The United States is in a war and we must take all the measures to protect our military and the civilian population that is possible. We must take measures like Israel. You do not see any gun-free zones in that tiny country. You see a country’s’ population ready for anything.  

“Gun Free Zones” do nothing but reassure and guarantee criminals, and now terrorists, that they will find unarmed victims defenseless and helpless against their murderous and bloodthirsty rampage. It is easy to shoot at somebody that cannot shoot back. This must stop and people must wake up. If strict measures are not taken the same thing that happen at Fort Hood could happen in your home town and even on your door step. If guns are band, which by the way is right around the corner, how will the average citizen protect their self from people like Nidal Hasan. These people, with their ideology and beliefs  are living in every small town and city in our country. With all due respect, how fast would your police department’s response time be? Will it befast enough to save your life and the lives of your love ones, or would you end up like the soldiers at Fort Hood? Who knows where or how many sleeper cells are in this country. The government, actually, tells the American people very little about this. How can we count on a government that will not even call terrorist what they are: “TERRORIST”

Maybe I’m crazy, as some that read this might think, but I’d would have rather the soldiers delivered a barrage of bullets to end Hasan’s attack the second he opened fire. I’d rather Hasan was dead and the heroes he murdered were still alive. I rather for him to be dead instead of the thirty injured people that were shot by him and some critical. This is exactly what would have happen if they were allowed to carry their weapons. By the way soldiers go through more firearms training than the local police departments and yet it was the local police department that took this man down. They were allowed to carry guns on the base but the soldiers are not.

But because of Clinton’s ingenious policy of an unarmed armed force, this psychopathic terrorist, Nidal Hasan, systematically and methodically executed soldier after soldier before the local police could arrive on the scene. If we didn't have “Gun Free Zones” and our armed forces were armed, Nadir Hasan would have met bullets instead of bodies. He would have been dead instead of the brave soldiers that are. 

The nation's unemployment now is now over 10.2 percent. Some economist, in the know, say it is really over 17 percent if you count all the people who have just stopped looking for work and It may go beyond 20 percent by next year. In many western states, such as California, the jobless rate may climb even higher.The old notion that "illegal immigrants just pick the lettuce that Americans refuse to" will not cut it anymore. In fact, today less than one out of 20 illegal aliens currently do farm labor. Most are engaged in construction as carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and other trades, or the service industry, or are homemakers with childcare responsibilities. While plenty of unemployed American citizens may still not yet wish to pick oranges, the jobless might consider taking jobs like hammering nails or working in restaurants and these jobs are being taking over more and more by illegal immigrants who are still coming by the thousands. Many states are broke. Taxes are rising. The public is questioning all sorts of government entitlement expenditures. In California, the latest budget crisis saw a $26 billion shortfall -- at a time when some studies put the state's net health, housing, education and criminal justice costs for some 3 million illegal aliens at over $10 billion a year. How will this country ever get back on its feet allowing that to happen? We have people losing their homes, living in tents, cars, with no jobs, no way of supporting their self (I’m talking about the people who really want to work) and we still have a large illegal immigration problem. Does this make any sense. Does the politicians need the illegal votes that bad to turn their back on the American Worker.

Even though the economy and job market is very bad the illegal aliens who receive government help somehow can send money back home to Mexico. Why is that?Of the 11-12 million illegal aliens believed to be residing in the United States, well over half are thought to be Mexican nationals. Each alien on average may send back perhaps about $3,000-4,000 per year to Mexico -- making their combined total of $25 billion in remittances a major source of Mexico's national income. So the money sent south may be near much of the cost of the taxpayer providing support for the nation's resident illegal population in the first place. Are the politicians missing something here or are their eyes turned the other way for the votes the illegals bring with them.

Americans have never minded helping the poor in their midst, even during hard times. But it's fair for us to wonder whether our own rising taxes go in part to pay for those who are subsidizing the Mexican government's inability or unwillingness to provide basic care for its own citizens. Mexico is a crooked country with crooked people running it. It always has been crooked down through its history and what is the difference now?

Finally, Mexico has seen the worst increase in of drug violence in its recent history --threatening to reduce the government to the status like Colombia in the 1980s. Over 7,000 Mexican citizens have been killed in gun battles so far this year between government security forces and the drug cartels. Who wants that violence to keep spilling over into major U.S. cities like Phoenix and Los Angeles? When will this government do something about the problem? Instead of doing something about the problem this present administration thinks that we are part of the problem. Instead of tighter border control to curb these illegal activities the government wants tighter gun control in this country to stop the violence. Close the borders and the violence, for the most part, will stop. Sometimes we must wonder if these congressmen and senators have a lick of sense.

Obama is between a rock and a hard place -- under biased political pressure by his own party to go further than any past government in easing immigration enforcement while the wider public increasingly wants the border strictly enforced and illegal immigration ended. Polls of all sorts reveal consistently that the public believes illegal immigration is a serious problem and that government is not doing enough to stop it. Why is not the government hearing this? Apparently a hesitant Obama hopes that the crisis over illegal immigration will just go away on its own -- despite his now forgotten April vow to enact "comprehensive immigration reform."When will Obama stop this flood of illegals? Or will he take a stance like his positions on the need for more troops in Afghanistan, and the nuclear crisis with Iran ? Obama is voting "present" on illegal immigration and that is not helping the American worker who is out of a job and it is not helping the crime that is getting out of hand on our borders and spreading buy Mexican gangs all over our nation.

I’m sure that this article will not set well with some but the more I think about what is happening in this country the more I've had it with some of people in this country, and even more so with the politicians who enable them and who know better, but whose desire, lust and thirst for power surpasses and go beyond anything comparable to common decency. It's time for a reality check, for the truth and here it is: this is one American whose sick and tired of subsidizing (support financially by my tax dollars) people who are too lazy to take care of themselves, and who expect and wait for other people to pick up the tab. People who would not work in a pie shop eating pies. Spare me excuses. I don't want to hear about "social justice," "victimization," discrimination,” or " unfair treatment " when they are nothing more than excuses that allow some people to live in this country on the back of working Americans while contributing practically nothing towards their own upkeep. There's a huge difference between the truly helpless and the truly lazy deadbeats, and I've had it with the politicians who make little or no distinction between the two groups. I don't care what these political prostitutes, who sell their selves, to get elected say or tell you, there's no such thing as "free" anything. There is nothing that is on the house and the fact that some think there is or don't give a darn because they are not paying for it, is a demonstration and verification to both their deceit and their lack of honesty. But then the deadbeats already know that and they are OK with it, as long as the government program or policy keeps delivering the goods and the check. The elected officials are okay with it as long as they get the deadbeats votes. This is not helping the people who truly need help. That is giving the ones that truly need help less. Now we have a government who wants to spread the wealth around. These means, in no uncertain terms, that more will be put on the backs of working Americans to dole out for people who can make a buck or two their own selves but would rather have it handed over to them. There was a time in this country when most people were ashamed to go on the dole and ask for any kind of government help, except as a last resort. There was also a time when most people accepted responsibility and blame for their own behavior, or felt bad doing something wrong when they knew it was wrong. But that was before secular "progressives" made it fashionable to believe religion-based moral codes were " out-of-date, not for today'" and that everyone was entitled to modify and custom fit their morality, their principles, their ethics and decency in accordance with "personal preferences." Where has the integrity, honor, and veracity of some people gone? Once such moral uncertainty gathered momentum, the legal profession and the therapeutic community were more than willing to jump on the bandwagon. For the former, "right and wrong" became "legal and illegal." For the latter, "well and unwell." Shame? Dead as the proverbial doornail. Its replacement? Self-rationalization and excuse-making. Who do these people think they are kidding? Not the American people who bust their butts every day to make ends meet. Not the people who try to do the right thing, just because it's right. A lot of them have been beaten into submission by our political class and some of our elected officials for whom nothing is more important than making decent people feel bad for not being "compassionate" enough. Well no more. I'm calling them out. All these politicians know the road to permanent and unending power is paved by buying the dead beats off. They are nothing more than blood-suckers, and it's long past time someone told them so. What good are they really doing our Country? I’m afraid more harm than good! All the decent working Americans who have been carrying the deadbeats for decades has had enough. Their self-righteous indignation and resentment is wearing exceedingly thin, and you may have noticed that the decent, law-abiding, hard-working Americans that are still the majority of people in this country are beginning to wake up. These are the very same folks who bend over backwards, time and time again, to help people in need and will still help the people who are, truly, in need but you deadbeats will have to do the same as all the rest of us do – WORK!

A man, whose family was German aristocracy prior to World War II, owned a number of large industries and estates. When asked how many German people were true Nazis, the answer he gave can show what our attitude, as Americans, should be toward fanaticism. "Very few people were true Nazis," he said, "but many enjoyed the return of German pride, and many more were too busy to care. I was one of those who just thought the Nazis were a bunch of fools. So, the majority just sat back and let it all happen. Soon they not only controlled us, they also owned us. Our banks, what was taught in schools, our businesses, our government, our hospitals, They controlled every part of our life.” Then, before we knew it, they owned everything we had, and we owned nothing. We had lost control, and the end of the world had come. My family lost everything. I ended up in a concentration camp and the Allies destroyed my factories." It was almost like being told when to get up and when to go to bed, like you were a child. We were not allowed to own firearms, Nazis’ controlled the doctors, hospitals, news papers, and all businesses. They controlled every part of our lives. We are told again and again by "experts" and "talking heads" that Islam is the religion of peace, and that the vast majority of Muslims just want to live in peace. Although this unqualified assertion may be true, it is entirely irrelevant to what is happening in the world today. It is worthless and hollow talk , meant to make us feel better, and meant to somehow diminish our worries about the band of fanatics rampaging across the world in the name of Islam. It is called being deceived! The true fact is that the fanatics rule Islam at this moment in history. It is the fanatics who march. It is the fanatics who wage any one of 50 shooting wars worldwide. It is the fanatics who systematically and methodically slaughter Christian or tribal groups throughout Africa and are gradually taking over the entire continent in an Islamic wave. It is the fanatics who bomb, behead, murder or honor-kill. It is the fanatics who take over mosque after mosque. It is the fanatics who zealously spread the stoning and hanging of rape victims and homosexuals. It is the fanatics who teach their young to kill and to become suicide bombers. The hard quantifiable fact is that the peaceful majority, the "silent majority," is cowed, intimidated, scared, or else unconnected to the problem. They think that it is not pertinent to them. How foolish. Communist Russia was comprised of Russians who just wanted to live in peace, yet the Russian Communists were responsible for the murder of about 20 million people. The peaceful majority was irrelevant. China's huge population was peaceful as well, but Chinese Communists managed to kill a staggering 70 million people. The average Japanese individual prior to World War II was not a warmongering sadist. Yet, Japan murdered and slaughtered its way across South East Asia in an orgy of killing that included the systematic murder of 12 million Chinese civilians; most killed by sword, shovel and bayonet. And who can forget Rwanda, which collapsed into butchery. Could it not be said that the majority of Rwandans were "peace loving"? History lessons are often incredibly simple and blunt, yet for all our powers of reason, we often miss the most basic and uncomplicated of points: Peace-loving Muslims have been made irrelevant and neither here nor there by their silence. Peace-loving Muslims will become our enemy if they don't speak up, because like my friend from Germany, they will awaken one day and find that the fanatics own them, and the end of their world will have begun. Peace-loving Germans, Japanese, Chinese, Russians, Rwandans, Serbs, Afghans, Iraqis, Palestinians, Somalis, Nigerians, Algerians and many others have died because the peaceful majority did not speak up until it was too late. Are you getting the point. As for us who watch it all unfold, we must pay attention to the only group that counts: the fanatics who threaten our way of life. Lastly, anyone who doubts that the issue is not real is contributing to the passiveness that allows the problems to expand. So, extend yourself a bit and reach out to all free people before it is too late. Send this on and on and on! Let us hope that thousands, worldwide, will stand up and not be silent before it's too late. And remember, the first thing the fanatics will do to the silent majority is to disarm them.

I just read the article in the Salisbury Times about their Gang problem. It was a very interesting article. Even though it was a very good and well written article she is behind times, because so many people in the Salisbury area have been commenting on this very subject in the paper for years. That is the way it is, the voice of the common folks are mostly never heard. It is a shame when gangs (who you know are armed) roam Salisbury and honest people have no way of defending their self because of federal and state gun control laws that are really worthless. Honest people are at the mercy of the bad guy and guess what, the bad guy knows this. The problem of gun control and gangs, home invasions, murder, and robbery will soon get much worse. The lawless people will have guns and the honest people will have none. You cannot count on the police because even though they do a good job this problem will soon over whelm them. They are only so many police officers. How are we to defend ourselves? The honest citizen will soon not be allowed to own a firearm, if Obama and Holder get their way, let alone be allowed to carry one. In some towns and states in this country it is legal to carry fire arms and in those states crime is way down. I wonder why. We do not need such as in the old wild west days but we do need to be safe in our homes and walking down the street. What good is the courts? 80% of the time they slap the criminals on the wrist instead of bringing the full weight of the law down on then.

The real news is that as the things in this world get worse, so will the gangs. You may laugh but the problems of this world have steadily got worse. There are parts of certain cities, across this nation, that police will not even go unless they go in force. Who is protecting the citizen in these areas? And now we have a federal government who wants to dismantle our country piece by piece. The gang problem, in Salisbury or anywhere else in this country, will not get any better until the borders are sealed and the flow of illegal people are stopped. We do not need to stop Mexico's drug war for them. We have our own problems and Mexico is the cause of a lot of them. We can blame the gang problem on whatever we want but it will not get any better until the citizens unite and demand a change. Not Obama's kind of change, but a change of our values and how things are done to keep the honest person safe. Everything is done for the criminal in this country and the honest man is screwed most of the time. Until we change the soft laws we have on crime and do away with gun control laws, that are useless, these problems will not stop but get worse. You may say the courts are overcrowded and they are, but why? They are overcrowded because of so many repeat offenders who will break the law over and over again because they know for the most part our court systems are a joke. For the most part it is not the judges and court officials but it is the rules and guidelines that they have to go by. These guide lines are made up and passed by people that we have elected to government. These people not only tie your hands they even tie the hands of law enforcement with some of their silly laws.

I do not want to sound like a prophet of doom and gloom, but we have not seen nothing yet. As if the crimes in this country are not getting worse we have a federal government that wants to give the enemy terrorist their rights when they are captured. How stupid! Who knows what laws that are in effect that would land you in jail for shooting someone who breaks into your home. We have some twisted laws that are just plain out and out foolish. I live in the country and anytime that I have called the police their response time has always been at least fifteen minutes. By that time a person could be seriously hurt or killed by a intruder. It is not the police officers fault there is only so many of them to cover a large area. So the question is do you just stand there and let the intruder do what they want or run to another room until the police come,  as most of the government law makers will tell you to do, or do you defend and protect yourself? If someone tries to break in my house, if Bruce (my dog) does not get them my shotgun will. Let me give you a short story, that I once read over the internet, and you tell me which one you are! 

 Picture yourself walking down the street with your family one night and a terrorist or a gang member came out of the shadows with intentions to rob you and do you and your family bodily harm. Which of the following three are you? (1) A LIBERAL sees the bad guy coming with his weapon drawn and he begins to question himself if there is enough lighting in the area, is there some way that I could reason with him, we need new gun laws, maybe if we run some of us could get away, do I have time to call the police? (2) A CONSERVATIVE sees the bad guy coming and he pulls out a handgun and starts to think, will I get in trouble if I shoot him, if I go to jail, for shooting this bad guy, will my family be okay? Who will take care of them with me in jail?(3) THE ONE THAT CLING TO HIS BIBLE AND GUNS sees the guy coming pulls out his Glock 45 and then you hear BANG! BANG! BANG! over and over again, then a empty clip hitting the ground. The family is safe and wait for the police to arrive. No more bad guy.

Sad to say some reading this will say that that is a dangerous and bad story but I would say this to you: In times past when most people, in this country, were like the number three guy in the above story there was a lot less crime in this country and it was basically safe to walk our streets. As this nation gets more and more violent all Americans need to know how to protect their self. Let the empty clip fall to the ground instead of you. Let the criminal know and understand that crime never pays and let him know that you will defend you and your family. 

Imagine how our Founding Fathers would react if they saw what has become of this once great Nation. Actually, perhaps most Americans already suspect what that reaction would be from those brave, conservative, God-fearing Founding Fathers. Little doubt, it would be the same as it was when they decided to take a stand for independence the first time around. Obama is destroying our country by removing essential parts of it that has made this country great. America has elected and is consequently stuck with a President that has never accomplished anything of significance that would merit the highest office in her great land. In Addition, this person America now calls their President stands 180 degrees in opposition with every other US President holding office prior to his inauguration (regardless of party affiliation). America has experienced the greatest economic collapse since the Great Depression and President Obama's answer is to give a speech to manipulate Americans into believing bigger government is the answer to everyone's problems. Regardless of political affiliation, Americans of all races, ages and sexes are starting to wake up and see that Obama and his administration has and continues do away with our Lady Liberty. In a recent speech to the American people (or for those disconnected few still listening to this president's drivel), Obama sounded more like a starving baby in search of a bottle, or one needing it's diaper changed, than a man supposedly having the most powerful position on earth. People are finally waking up to his fake transparency and are standing up for their rights and for this they are called many things and none of them good. However I must remind the reader that he kept his promise to change America. We are fast going away from the America that we once knew and grew up in. Some of the things that he has done already are mind boggling and beyond all comprehension. If there was ever a time when the sense of smell oozed from the television and filled the living rooms and homes across this nation, it was during Obama's infamous "It's Not About Me" speech. The problem with him is it is all about him. A little over six months ago America's economy was not good; however, as bad as it was then, it was nothing compared to how bad the US economy is presently. And for that matter, if Obama continues to get his way, America has yet to see just how bad her country's economy will suffer, but not only the economy but our freedoms also. It goes beyond all belief that a paid government official, (a bureaucrat) who was not even confirmed by the Senate but just one of the many "czars" selected and put into place by Obama, could at a whim just cut the pay of executives in private businesses by 50 percent or 90 percent? No up or down vote by congress, it was just done. Who would ever believe that this would happen in America. Did you know that a Obama appointed czar wants to restrict and limit talk radio? They want to do this to keep the talk within their fixed limitations. Obama and his czars also have plans to subsidize and fund newspapers. This means that Obama and his czars want to make a situation where the newspapers' existence would depend on the government saying it is okay what they write? Did you ever think that anyone would even be talking about having a group who would make a decision who could and could not get life-saving medical treatments? Chilling as that is from a medical standpoint, it is also chilling from the standpoint of our freedom. If you have a parent who needs a major operation or a child with some grim medical condition, how free would you feel to speak out against an administration that has the authority to make life and death decisions about your loved ones? Does any of this sound like America that you grew up in? How about a government organization giving your children and other children information to enroll them on the side of the president? Merely being assigned to sing his praises in class is clearly not enough. Are we headed for trouble? This not the country that we grow up in and our soldiers bleed and died for. At the rate we are going Americans can kiss their freedoms good bye. How much of our freedom will be left if Obama is allowed to continue on this path? There will be none! Our lack of liberty and choice will be gone. Obama already wants a national police force. Why would he want this? We already have local police forces in most towns and cities. We have military forces for the defense of our country. We also have the FBI for federal crimes and the National Guard is located in every state of this union for local emergencies. What would be the role of a national police force created by Barack Obama, with all its leaders appointed by him and answerable only to him? It seems more like the brown shirts and the Gestapo in world war two Germany than like anything we have in this country. What would be the reason for this? How far Obama will go depends on how much resistance and opposition he encounter as he tries to do these things. But the direction in which he is trying to go tells us more than all his rhetoric or speech-making. Barack Obama has not only said that he is out to "change the United States of America," the people he has been associated with and next to for years have expressed in words and deeds their opposition to the values, the principles and the main beliefs of this country. Jeremiah Wright said it, over national TV with these words: "God damn America!" Bill Ayers said it with bombs that he put in government buildings and just recently said he did not do enough. This is Obama's friend. Obama's Community activist buddies have said it with their contempt and dislike for the constitutional rights of other people, for example the 2nd amendment. Among the people appointed as czars by President Obama have been people who have praised enemy dictators like Mao and Castro. Some have accused Bush of being behind the tragedy of Twin towers on 911. For those of you who say that the Obama should have looked into those people's back ground more carefully and in more detail before he appointed them are not seeing who Obama really is and are totally missing the point. Why should anybody think that Obama didn't know what these people were like, when he has been associating with these kinds of people for ten or twenty years before he moved into the White House? Nothing is more like a roadmap than Obama's consistent lifetime patterns than putting such people in government, people who reject and hate American values, resent Americans in general and Americans who are successful in particular, as well as resenting America's influence and power in the world. Any blunder or boo-boo about this on his part would be in not thinking that others would discover what these cunning appointees were like. Had it not been for the Fox News Channel and people like Glen Beck, Bill O'Reily, and Sean Hannity these cunning appointees might have never been known for what they are until it was too late. This is one of the reasons Fox News is now high on the administration's enemies list. The cat is out of the bag. Nothing so exemplifies Obama's own contempt and disrespect for American values and traditions than apologizing to other nations for the United States. Most folks, in this country are starting to wake up to ask: "Where is the transparency he promised. They are beginning to see that he is taking away everyone of our freedoms, one by one. We have let the Trojan horse in. Whether enough people will wake up in time to keep America from being dismantled and taken apart, disassembled piece by piece, and given to the Muslim terrorist is another question, and it is, by far, the biggest question for this generation of Americans. For what they are, if Obama's skills and experience as President could be transferred to that of a surgeon, how many of his followers, if they needed surgery, would willing go under his knife? Will there be a America left after his four years?

Here a little and there a little we are losing our freedoms in this country and most Americans cannot even see it. They just go with the flow. Our Founding Fathers recognized and knew that the armed common folk was the greatest and most effective means of defense against an oppressive government, which explains why most liberal Democrats have been trying to do away with the Second Amendment for years. To do away with a free people’s firearms is instant people control. They are no longer free. History proves that. As the United States spirals toward a one world government we are losing our means of defending that 2nd amendment more every day. We are so close to a one world government that it could happen in the very near future. Obama has czars that want a one world government, so you know what they are working for, unrestrained, answering only to Obama. We now have a president who will give this nation away in a heartbeat and even though he will not admit it he is not for gun ownership. What he is for, is total control over everything. We do not need or want a dictator (someone who wants to be in total control) or a dictatorial government that rules over everybody and everything. A government ruling with absolute power over a population has always presented the greatest danger to the citizens of any nation, Our Freedoms that was put forth in the Declaration that come from God have always been despised and hated by evil and ignorant men. I can think of no other time in our nation’s history when our God given rights and freedoms have been endangered by a list of statistics and worthless gun control laws, as well as other worthless laws, by liberal politicians, communist, and socialist, who hate every building block upon which our nation rests. We have people that have been elected to our government at all levels that hate this country and would tear it down if they could. And if they need help in doing it the Obama appointed Czars will help in tearing it down. We have a president and a attorney general who are one hundred per cent behind gun control and other laws that take away your freedom. What is the real purpose of gun control? The government would have you to believe it is to prevent crime and for the peoples best interest. The states and cities in this country that have the most strictest gun laws, that is where crime is the highest. For example, Washington, DC and Chicago. The government is using gun control laws to do what they want. It is for people control. Gun registration allows the government to know that you own guns, what kind they are and where you live. THAT INFORMATION should be none of their business. Most of the present gun laws are not to keep the citizen safe even though that is what they would have you to believe. These laws were made to lay the ground work for the government to knock at your door and taking every gun that you have and it will come to that very thing in the near future. Keep an eye on the development of the Obama Civilian Security Force (what was once known as the "Gestapo" a little over 60 years ago in a country called Germany). He said this security force would only be answerable to him. When these people start showing up, it'll will be all over. You will have to turn over your fire arms because it will be the law. The new Attorney General's Guidelines for Domestic (within the United States) FBI Operations authorize the FBI without going to a court to open a investigation and to give an assessment of any American without any exact information based on fact to open that investigation. Such 'assessments' allow the use of invasive practices to secretly and underhandedly collect information on people suspected of no wrongdoing and in no way are connected with any foreign entity. What is happening here is the total loss of our freedom. Obama has expressed no objections to these far-reaching revisions of the Constitution in a founding document he used to educate students about it at the University of Chicago. His attorney general, Eric Holder, said during his Senate confirmation hearing: "The guidelines are necessary because the FBI is changing its mission from a pure investigating agency to one that deals with national security." This the same Eric Holder who said, while George W. Bush was president: "I never thought that I would see the day when a president would act in direct defiance of federal law by authorizing warrantless NSA (National Security Agency) surveillance of American citizens." Obama now has a unrestrained FBI and it will get even worse if he is allowed to start his national security force. The Second Amendment was designed as a way for the people to maintain their freedom by giving them the tools to resist repressive government. Doing away with or changing the 2nd amendment will be the cause of all our other rights to be taken from us. Gun ownership (the right to bear arms) was never about hunting or stopping a burglar even though they are certainly a great benefit of gun ownership and always will be. The greatest danger to life and our freedoms in this world is government. That has always been the case. Down through the years it has always been that way. For examples look at Russia, China, Germany, Cambodia and on and on. Now we are seeing the same thing in this country. I think that it is now being called: “CHANGE”. And that change is from a capitalist form of government to a communist form of government. Making sure the government knows the population is fully capable of resisting goes a long way toward keeping that government on the right track. There is always a cost for freedom. The price is always high. Being unwilling to accept the cost guarantees the loss of freedom. A dictator or a dictatorial government has always presented the greatest danger to the citizens of any country including ours, Our Freedoms listed in the Declaration that come from God have always been despised by evil and ignorant men. I can think of no other time in our nation’s history when our God given rights and freedoms are being endangered by a list of laws made mostly by people who hate every building block and joint upon which our nation rests than this present time in our history. Our country is at a cross road and all conservatives, gun owners, and people who believe in our Constitution (as the founding fathers laid it out) need to stand up and be counted. The weapons of these people are deception, dishonesty, deceitfulness, confusion, a “in the tank” news media, just plain outright lies, and the power of government itself. These weapons are far more dangerous to our country than the fire arms that law abiding citizens own. If you are a gun owner you must realize that gun control is not the only freedom issue we have in this country. There is a list of issues that need to be spoken about. Government takeover of banks, lending institutions, the takeover of private business, the automobile industry, and health care, the taking of your hard earned money and spreading it around, and this is only the start. Appointing czars that are not answerable to you, the American citizen, as to how they run the country. That was not how our country is founded. Some of these Czars are proven communist and socialist. Here a little and there a little we are heading to a government that will have 100% control over every aspect of your life. Our freedoms and way of life as Americans are under attack and soon will be gone” HEAR A LITTLE AND THERE A LITTLE” May God have mercy on our nation and open the eyes of more and more of its people to rise up against the vile and deliberate attempts to erode our freedoms, to take the creator out of things, and turn our nation into a communist slave state. Laugh if you want but that is what is happening right before your eyes AMERICA. Do you have the same amount of freedom that you had twenty years ago, ten years ago, or even five years ago? The answer is no! Is the government bigger or smaller than it was ten years ago? We all know it is bigger! If the Constitution does not mean EXACTLY what it says, according to the plain meaning of the words as understood at the time it was written, (and it does) then there is no point to having a written constitution at all. What good is it. Our form of government was formed the way it was to have checks and balances so no certain branch of government could not have it all and become a threat to the common folk of this country. But look what is happening before your very eyes, the supreme court is now in the business of trying to make laws instead of interpreting the law, the congress do not care about or will listen to the citizens. All they want is their liberal agenda passed and their ear marks attached to bills that are passed, Then we have a president that wants TOTAL CONTROL over everything, even a police officer doing his job. It is time not only for gun owners to take heed but for all true Americans to do the same thing. You need to ask yourself this question: “IS THIS THE AMERICA THAT I GREW UP IN?”

Ever since I was a young man I always looked forward to reading the newspapers and watching the news on TV. I always wanted to know what was happening in the world and especially this country. I was always taught at home and in school that one of the greatest rights of a free nation is the Freedom of Speech and a Free Press. From the very beginning of our country, and through its chaotic history, a free press has always been there to give us the news and supply us with the information that we needed to make up our minds concerning the problem of the day. But now I see (as most people can) that the news outlets whether they be the newspaper, TV, radio, or magazine, no longer have a goal of showing us both sides of the issues facing this country. They no longer want to report the news in a manner that we, the people, can decide our own selves on the right choices, but they want to create news according to their own personal bias and they are being very unfair when they report it. They want the reader to have a foregone conclusion of what is right, even though it is not right. What is wrong with that picture? Let's look at just one case in point. Do you remember the "Tea Parties" held across the nation. At the same time as Fox News and the Wall Street Journal reported on these events, the other major news sources either disregarded them or reported on them as if the tea parties were a bunch of right wing, anti-government anti-tax people who were really bunch of eccentric nut cases. As I watched the CNN coverage of the Chicago tea party by a CNN reporter Susan Roesgan, I was a witness to the deceit and partiality and unfairness of that news network. It was so plain! We have to come to the overall conclusion that the American news media extremely dislike and detest conservative and Christian America. They get satisfaction and enjoyment in mocking and criticize the conservatives because we are Pro-Life, and Pro-Gun. They also liken those of us who are against illegal immigration to the Klu Klux Klan and Adolf Hitler! If you do not go along with Obama's agenda then you are a racist! Every reporter at major news outlets such as the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Washington Post, and the Boston Globe, are so liberal that it goes against all description! We can also add the TV news reporters of ABC, CBS, CNN, and MSNBC! Most of the reporters that work for these stations are so bias when they report to the American Public that it comes close to being disgusting and it shows total disregard for the rights of others. Most all of these were great news papers at one time but they have lost it all because of their bias liberal reporting. The fact of the matter is that we can no longer believe what we read or hear on the news. So how can we make the right decision when it comes to issues of the day? I no longer watch a lot of TV news, like I use to because I have better things to do than listen to a bunch of bias reporters that cannot and will not tell the truth. When I do watch the news it is Fox News, because, as they claim, they are fair and balanced. Most of the time you will hear both sides of the story. When the millions of people, in this country no longer want to be a informed citizen and no longer want to know or hear the truth, but only want to hear what they are told, then that is how you get the government we have today. That is how (as Obama calls it) we get the change we have today in our government.

I have read two different articles about the war in Afghanistan and in the last couple of days I have read some pretty disturbing things. I do not believe, what I’m about to comment on, was really reported because of our liberal news reporters that report only what they want you to hear. I do not know how it slipped through the cracks. During a recent battle in Afghanistan the United States commanders, quoted and referred to new rules of engagement to stop civilian casualties, in which they rejected repeated calls to unleash artillery rounds at attackers dug into the slopes and tree lines despite being told repeatedly that they weren't near any village." I bet you my last dollar that this was not the first time that it happened and it was totally ignored by the news papers and therefore went totally unnoticed by the American public. But this time there was someone to witness it, who had the doodads to write it down and publish it. I’m referring to the deaths of four United States soldiers that were killed by the rules of engagement they have to use when fighting the enemy. They are the new rules of engagement. This incident took place last Tuesday in an ambush, by Muslim terrorist, against Afghan forces and their U.S. trainers around the village of Ganjgal. There was a journalist whose name is Jonathan S. Landay of McClatchy Newspapers who was there and lived through the deadly firefight to write the following:

Specifically, the deaths of four U.S. Marines seemingly by the new rules of engagement (ROE) in Afghanistan. They the "U.S. commanders, citing new rules to avoid civilian casualties, rejected repeated calls to unleash artillery rounds at attackers dug into the slopes and tree lines despite being told repeatedly that they weren't near the village." 

What Landay describes and tells sounds like a terrible demonstration of what Afghanistan commander Gen. Stanley A. McChrystal talked about all summer and what many other people have called our war on civilian casualties. It is being waged, as thinking goes, to win Afghan "hearts and minds" and thus the "counterinsurgency" against the Taliban. Forget about the lives of our brave soldiers. McChrystal and this strategy currently have the over whelming support of both Obama and the Left wingers, who, with the help of a new conservative think tank, the Foreign Policy Initiative, recently wrote an open letter to President Obama specifically congratulated the president for choosing the McChrystal team, and put across confidence in its new strategy. According to their thinking protecting the Afghan people from, “Everything that can hurt them”, will not only make the people like us, but they will help us. (Please who are they kidding) These people think that this kind of thinking will upset and stop the jihad that is being waged against people who do not believe the Muslim religion. But what this policy is really doing is increasing the dangers for our troops that have been sent in harm’s way. Here is a statement that McChrystal made to the BBC: "It's a balance for the young soldier on the ground who is in combat. One of the assets that he has that mightsave his life, might be air power or indirect fire from artillery or mortars and we don't want to take away that protection for him."Now that to me is talking out of both sides of your mouth. The suggestion that our troops might be called on to think twice about saving their own lives was, to me, bone chilling. And more than ever after what happened this week is less soldier-on-the-ground uncertainty than commander-at-the-base wanting to pacify the Afghan Muslims. Here is what Landay's account said about this:

In other words, McChrystal's soldiers on the ground wanted protection to save their lives and didn't get it. Now explain that!This should be a national disgrace. A NATO-led investigation is under way into the incident, which on its face appears to be a natural result of the "hearts and minds" policy endorsed by Left and Right alike. As McChrystal put it last month: "We're here to protect the Afghan people. And we're here to protect them from everything that can hurt them, both enemy activity but also inadvertent activity by Afghan forces or ours. So we're trying to build into the philosophy of our forces a incredible sensitivity and understanding that everything they may do must be balanced against the possibility of hurting anyone." That is anyone but our own!

Our arm forces have come a long way since World War Two. I read in an article wrote by Diana West were she quoted a statement from General Patton which were repeated in the Movie “Patton “by George C. Scott. This is what Patton said: "I want you to remember that no b**tard ever won a war by dying for his country. He won it by making the other poor, dumb b**tard die for his country." Today, our generals have something else in mind as we can see when McChrystal says: "The Afghan people are the reason we're here." I might be dumb as a stick like some of you liberals think that I am But I thought the reason we were in that country was to destroy the Taliban and their network of terrorism. If that is not the case then why are we there? Why are our young men dying every day, over there serving their country.According to McClatchey's report this week, there is a troubling and disturbing suspicion that the Afghan people, local villagers and even security personnel, were behind the Ganjgal ambush in the first place. Now what is wrong with this picture? Why are our young men and women fighting and dying in a war that they cannot win (BECAUSE OF THIS REASON ONLY) their hands are being tied by politicians and generals who want to be politically correct.

There will be some who read this article who will not agree with me but you do not take a big stick to a gun fight and expect to win. You bring a bigger gun and then you are not afraid to use it. Will this war against terrorist be won in Washington by people who want to be politically correct or will it be won by soldiers who hands are untied and given the order to get it done? 

Since President Obama was elected, he has appointed at least 34 supposed "czars" to supervise and take charge of a lot of governmental responsibilities. These czars have been described as "super aides" (really super aids) that work across agency lines to move forward and set in motion the President's agendas and programs for different things that he wants. I thought that was what people were elected to congress for. CBS News (not one of my favorite places to get fair and balance news) says that these czars "report directly to Mr. Obama and have the power to shape national policy on their subject area." This means they bypass the congress and the American people. The very future of this country is being shaped by people who were not elected or confirmed by congress. This should be scary to the reader! What about congress and the American people? Where do they come in during the Obama years?The lines defining the limitations of the czars' power are unclear, even to many in Congress. Let me give you one example that I found, Republican Senator Susan Collins of Maine said:"Who's in charge of health care? Is it the Secretary of Health and Human Services?(a person who was confirmed by congress) Or is the White House czar ( a person who was appointed by Obama and is answerable only to him)? Who is in charge of environmental and energy issues?" that is a good question and it needs an answer. Who is really in charge of this country? Is it the elected officials or is it Obama and his czars? Czars do not need or require Congressional approval. {amazing} With most of this so called czars there are no confirmation hearings, no up or down votes, for this reason the czars are insulated and protected from accountability and for anything they do, from Congress and the American People. Did our fore fathers want this when they framed the constitution. Most Americans are very critical of these czars and have the view that such an arrangement (I would rather call it a pack) threatens to increase the power of the President (who by the way appoints these czars) beyond what is Constitutionally mandated. Read what Democrat Senator Robert Byrd, and he is just one of many, has said about the Obama Czar system: "It can threaten the Constitutional system of checks and balances … As presidential assistants and advisers, these White House staffers are not accountable for their actions to the Congress, to cabinet officials, or to virtually anyone but the president. They rarely testify before congressional committees, and often shield the information and decision-making process behind the assertion of executive privilege." A question that I would like to ask is this: "Where are the checks and balances with these czars". Obama promised "change" and we are sure getting that! What did Obama say, just before the elections, about being 5 days away from "fundamentally transforming America"..... I guess he was right, because he sure is doing that. Why are there so many communists and Marxists in the Obama Administration? Who are these people? Whose paying them? Why are there so many empty posts in the Administration, that was put into place by congress, and why do we have all these un-vetted people advising our President? Why does the Administration not want the FBI to check and investigate people anymore? These are questions that have to be answered. Some who read this will say that I'm a whack job, a racist, a wing nut, but when you stop and think about it, am I? Just investigate the background of some of these czars yourself using reliable web sites and you will see the same shocking things as I did. Just read these few things that I found and then search for yourself. Some of these czars believe or have openly stated that: {1} The United States was responsible for the twin towers attack on 911, {2} Illegal's have just as much right in this country as citizens, {3} Most of them have Marxist views or socialist views, {4} some believe that the constitution should be updated, and {4} there is a lot more that you can read from reliable sources. This is the change we got when Obama and his socialist views and crowd was elected to the highest office in our land. We have not only the right to ask who these people are, but, since it is our government and our country, We have the responsibility to know who they are and what they are doing. Not only do we have these czars, that are accountable only to Obama, we also have no checks and balances in our government and to me that is very scary. We now have the most liberal President, liberal congress, and liberal Supreme Court ever. In other words there is really no way to stop their liberal agenda and one again that is scary! Make no mistake, Obama knows exactly what he is doing. This is a first-rate power grab by a power-hungry President. (don't take that lightly). You see the great thing about czars, as I have already said and feel that I must say again) is that they operate with impunity and they are "under the radar" when it comes to making policy. No one knows what they are doing until it is done. They are accountable to nobody, except the administration. So in effect we have NON-ELECTED officials, who are backed by The White House, who are given the tools and resources to do the bidding of the President and they are accountable to NO ONE! These czars don't have to undergo Senate Confirmation Hearings, they just get appointed by Obama. What is happening here? It seems to me that Obama is creating an alternative to the constitutionally sanctioned government administrators. This, in and of itself, creates an alternative, in other words another government which is responsible to reporting ONLY to Obama. That, folks, is what happens before someone illegally takes over a country. Read your history books. Laugh if you want and call me a nut if you want. They began to deliver the goods and promises to the masses while the legitimate government is floundering..... and then, BINGO OVER NIGHT, the alternative government supplants legitimate authority. With some key changes, making them more accountable to We The People, we can bring back what Congress is suppose to be. I learned something interesting recently. The word CZAR is actually the Russian word for Caesar. It also means emperor.

That was quick. The "YES WE CAN" and "CHANGE" that covered and washed over this country in the beginning months of Barack Husain Obama's presidency are giving way to bleak realities. The greater part of the voters in this country now are beginning to see how Obama's campaign tactics and his early months in office as being completely wrong for this country. An Associated Press Poll shows that a majority of Americans are back to thinking that the country is headed in the wrong direction after a fleeting period in which more people thought it was going in the right direction Obama still has a 55 percent approval rating, but there are increasing uncertainties about whether he can accomplish some things that he wants to do. And there is a growing implications that he is heading this country for socialism and that he wants to do away with what has made our nation strong. People do not want government control over every part of their life. They already have enough of that. We do life in a communist country. We are a free people. The amount of people who think Obama can improve the economy is down a whopping 19 percentage points from the exhilarated and ecstatic days just before his inauguration. Forget about the prospect of creating new jobs. Also down considerably: the portion of people who think he can reduce the deficit, take our troops from Iraq and improve respect for the U.S. around the world, all slipping 15 percentage points. You cannot get respect from other nations by apologizing all the time. You cannot reduce the deficit adding trillions of dollars to it. A stimulus package with millions of dollars of pork in it is not what the American people want either. His big issue of reforming heath care to Obama care is losing ground not only with the American people but with capitol hill also. Some of the blue dogs {Democrats}are not going along with him on his health care proposal and no longer are his lap dogs. They are starting to think for their self. Does all this mean Obama has lost his "yes we can" charm? Has "yes-we-can" changed and transformed into a maybe? Criticism is not only coming from his political opponents, but now it is coming from a ever increasing number of Americans, some of which, just four months ago thought that Obama could do no wrong. Some even thought that he was the messiah. In Obama's case, the problems he's confronting domestically and internationally are great, and his ability to blame them on his predecessor is vanishing. There are still challenges and questions that proliferate and are growing on how to do the right thing in Iraq and Afghanistan. Unemployment, was at 7.6 percent in January, and it hit 9.5 percent in June and is predicted to keep growing higher into next year. The outrageous {pork} stimulus package was suppose to stop that growing number but it has not done it. Almost four percent of homeowners with mortgages are in foreclosure, and an also another eight percent are at least a month behind on payments. This is the highest levels since the Great Depression. It's all taking a toll on outlook and hope for the country. The number of people who think it's practical and reasonable to expect at least some visible improvement in the economy during Obama's first year in office fell from 27 percent in January to 16 percent in the latest survey. There's been a falling away, as well, in how people view the president personally. About two-thirds of Americans now think he understands the problems of everyday Americans, that is down from 81 percent in January. Now that most people has a clear view of Obama as not being the savior and seeing where he is coming from more and more are telling him to keep his change and they will keep their money.
